I was actually feeling same way, I was thinking that the fact that Liverpool is not longer in the champions league they would want to win the carabao cup and the premier league at least to go home with two trophy this season but it wasn't as i think or expected and Newcastle on the other hand wasn't a stick they are also humans who are/were planning better things for themselves and then they beat Liverpool and emerge victorious as the 2025 carabao cup winners and it is an achievement for them season.
Liverpool really wanted to win the match, just that Newcastle didn’t give them breathing space in the match. Newcastle performed well in the match, they wanted to win the cup, and they did everything possible to achieve that. Most people never expected Liverpool to lose the match, since they were out of the champions league race, but Newcastle defeated them in the carabao cup also. Seriously I like the way the Cardano cup was won by Newcastle, they performed well, and they really deserve to win the cup.
