No matter how reasonable an advice is from someone that's not addicted to gambling, it's futile because there's no way that gambling addicts are ever going to hear it or follow that because reasoning with them doesn't work, self realization is the only thing that's needed before they can start hearing out some advice, as the saying goes, you can't really help people that don't ask for help, it's not really your duty to save them anyway, give out the advice and let them know that you did your part but never put too much effort into it because they'll end up hating you for it.

Unless those addicted to gambling want to open their mind and accept the suggestion. Without doing that, they will just let the word enter to the right ears and out from left ears. It is not worth if we argue with them because that will just waste our time without getting any result. The worst thing that can happen to that is our relationship with that person will disturb and he will not want to have a friend like us.

We can be free of gambling forever but that will need a big effort to say No for gambling. We need to be discipline with our goal and always remember that we really want to leave gambling forever. We will not tempt from the promotion and ads we see in many websites because we already have that experienced and now, we want to leave gambling forever.
