I'd like to call this as the rise of Como. This is their first season at serie a, but they looked like have stayed for years at serie a. They rarely lost against the big club, and far away from the relegation zone. I really appreciate how Fabregas totally transformed this club.
He helped this club to go up from the lower league and finally reached serie, and stay for another season. His team is really underrated team now. I can't even imagine if Como's owner give him huge sum of money to buy the new players.
Cesc Fabregas is trying to do his best as a technical director. I also think that competing with big teams in Italy with Como in this new career will give him great technical experience. If he is at the helm again next year, he can be much more successful with Como. Because he will know the team well and the players' situation in the best way.
He is in learning phase of his coach career but what he has done for Como in this season is impressive. Recall what Xabi did in his first season for Leverkusen, I see very bright future for Cesc as a head coach in next several years. He can continue his career in Serie A, or move to Bundesliga to replace Xabi Alonso in Leverkusen, or return to La Liga or Premier League.
