Gambling is a strong addiction for people like alcohol where a person doesn't realize it at the beginning but later when it gets intense then people realize how much it has set with the brain in the person. Maybe it is not possible to stop gambling all at once, just like people can get out of drug addiction. However, if you get family understanding and support, you can get out of any severe addiction.

Severe addiction to gambling will not be easy to get rid of. People who are addicted to gambling generally no longer think positively, what is in them is a sense of curiosity that there will be victory after defeat. The point is if someone wants to be free from gambling addiction, of course they must have the desire and awareness of themselves and so is the support of the closest people such as family. I think that will be able to make a gradual stage of being free from addiction but remember severe addiction will be difficult to do all that.
