What matters is it's a proven asset of a new asset class, and if plebs like us truly understood how Bitcoin fundamentally works, its incentive structure, its potential, then we shouldn't be affected by his opinions about Bitcoin. In fact, it's merely laughable. Priceless.
I wasn't referring to you or me when it comes to people like PS - but to all those who know very little or nothing about BTC, and who are influenced by his statements. These people unfortunately believe anyone who is powerful in any sense, no matter what nonsense they say.
In one article, they called him by his real name
"the Professional Bitcoin Critic" and I think that describes him in the best way - because the man has been saying for over 10 years that BTC is a scam and a Ponzi scheme, and at the same time the bank he ran went bankrupt due to accusations of mounting tax evasion and money laundering.
Everyone chooses their own company, I just find it strange that someone who understands BTC would want to go to dinner with someone who represents everything that is bad in today's world.
