Don't be surprise that manchester city will recover from thier form after this break, and of course manchester city is supposed to be in the top 4 of the table if not for there poor performance. But I think they still have the chance to make it up to the top 4 because the point differences isn't that much just a difference of 1 point, chelsea in the other side is not also in a good performance. So I think the performance of this 3 teams after this break will determine who will qualify for champions league next season.
There is no doubt that Manchester City will secure a Champions League spot for next season. While Chelsea, a team plagued by inconsistency and injuries, will find it challenging to finish in a position that will guarantee them a champions League football next season.
That said, it will be interesting to see who joins Liverpool and Arsenal to complete the top 4. Teams like Nottingham forest, Newcastle have shown determination and resilience, making the race more competitive.
In as much as Manchester City will not allow themselves to be prized out of top four,if they are not very careful,it might still happen that they do not qualify,yes because no team is to be underrated in the premier league,and no team is small,therefore if Manchester City are to still maintain their position,they must beat all the teams that they will be playing now till the end of the season,else,they will find it difficult to move ahead of Chelsea.
I don't think there is a guarantee that after this international break Manchester City's performance will improve, because what I see is that Manchester City's current poor performance is very difficult to fix. The proof is that until now Pep as the coach at Manchester City has not been able to change Manchester City's performance well. So with this not too long international break, I don't think it will guarantee that Manchester City's performance will improve again. In fact, I personally speculate that Manchester City's performance could be much worse after this international break. Because it is possible that Manchester City's main players will spend more of this break on vacation and not for training. So if that's the case, I'm sure Manchester City's performance will be much worse.
Then talking about the fight for 4th place in the English league, I think there will be 4 teams competing, namely Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle, and Brighton. Because currently these 4 teams have a point difference that is not too far apart. So with this, it is certain that these 4 teams will compete hard to finish in 4th place in the English league. In addition, Manchester City's potential to finish in 4th place is still quite large.
