First, I would like to ask, could this be a reflection of a failing educational system? My second question is that if you happen to be the employer here, which will you consider more, school or skills?
I have to judge it from the progress of a country. If a country is already considered advanced, perhaps the character of their education system is different from a country that lacks human resources.
For me, school and skills are both important and they are inseparable units. School is where we learn to gain skills according to the discipline of our choice.

all depends on the learning they do, and studying at school to find out knowledge about all things and make broader insights, and skills show a person's talent in a particular field that they have and at least to be able to produce both is very important, although school and skills there are many differences from it which of course I choose education to go through and will gain a lot of insight and knowledge that is obtained.

You are wrong here, school today is not the only place for someone to gain knowledge, now we have the internet that can be accessed by everyone in the world and is always available 24 hours, but I still agree with you who prioritize education over other things (I also choose school as a very important thing)

to be a consideration in choosing employees, I will not pay attention to their schools, because some great entrepreneurs say that employees who are too smart and have higher education are very dangerous but ordinary employees who have good skills and good ethics are valuable assets.
