The Champions League exit was heartbreaking for every football fan. They probably never expected that Liverpool would play with dominance all season and lose to PSG in the round of 16 and be eliminated from the league. I expected them to make the semi-finals or the final. After the Champions League exit, they also failed to win the EFL League.
Till date, I still can't believe that Liverpool exited the champions League. On top of that, they were eliminated by one of the most discoordinated team in the league. I keep wondering why these teams don't play like it's their last day on earth with smaller teams that looks easily defeatable. They weren't even planning to back down from their attacking game plan right from the first half of the first leg.
In the second half, I actually felt like Liverpool would overtake and break through with a different force, but they only got worse! I stared my life out at my TV screen in anticipation, but every effort that mo. Salah made was a failure. Damnnn, I won't forget in a hurry, how history was effortlessly made!
