Mainz has a 3-point advantage over other clubs, I don’t know what’s going on with the additional indicators, but these 3 points alone are a weighty argument.
Mainz experienced a fall last year, instead of their usual place in the middle of the tournament table they ended up in 13th place. And there were seasons when they were about there, but last season they were very close to relegation if you look at the number of points.
Maybe once they get into the Champions League they will repeat Union’s path, who knows.

Looking at Bayern Munich's remaining Bundesliga fixture, I just can't see any team left which can make difficulties for real.

There are home games against Dortmund and Mainz. An away one against Leipzig. I mean these are the ones that can be evaluated as the toughest ones. But do any of you believe Bayern Munich will struggle in these games? Grin

Although most of Bayern Munic resources will be channeled towards the Champions League, they will still want to maintain their great records in the Bundesliga by winning it and suffering minimal setbacks.

Yes, I think Bayern Munich humiliated Bayer Leverkusen so much that I can't see any team in Germany that can beat them right now. However, mathematically, Leverkusen still has a chance to win the championship. If Bayern Munich surprisingly loses a few points and Leverkusen starts to gain points, we can start talking about their chances of getting back to the top. However, the way they played shows that Bayern Munich is in a very good shape and they don't seem to be losing easily.
