It is a hood idea as you say to simply walk away from a negative experience, say, a big loss. Because then the brain will be able to have some space and separation and be able to think in a more rational way, including more facts into making a good decision.

If you keep gambling you ate not really using the most rational part of your brain, and the casinos know this of course.

That's deep and brutal but that's right.

We have to control ourselves, our minds, our brains before it controls us because it will continue to tell us that we need to gamble more for us to recover, that's the normal reaction it will have.
