By the way, this guy isn't very smart. He said that he wants to become the youngest UFC champion and then retire at the age of 25. That's a very bad move.
When UFC fighters say they want to retire at age 25.
I think they mean to say the lifestyle & training are hard and they don't see themselves surviving a long time.
Doesn't really matter what they mean. UFC is owned by one of the biggest money addict of all time, by Dana White. Telling Dana White that you want to retire (or slow down) after the age of 25 is the biggest mistake. Why will he invest money into you then? Why will he promote you? Why will he create a hype for you? Look at Alex Pereira, this man saved UFC a lot of times and even at the age of 37, he still stand strong and is the type of guy that benefits company a lot, so Dana White loves him and promotes him as well.
Was not trying to offend anyone, but why exactly UFC took Raul Rosas Jr. ? Talented ? Yes. Btw he has got two brothers who are MMA fighters also and had perfect record (Raul before signing to UFC had 5-0 in amateur MMA). I am 1000% sure there are talented guys with 5-0 in the world despite Raul. Probably scouts noticed him for his charisma. Anyway, let wish this guy luck and to get to his dream without injuries.
Now about his wish to become champ and retire at 25. I really dont know how he is going to do that. Wikipedia say that youngest bantamweight champ was 25yo - Garbrandt. Bones became champion when he was 23. Rosas is 20 already. King of bantamweight right now is Merab who has no plans to retire. Raul has 3 years left and he is not even in top15. Not going to make it

I think that UFC will not benefit from his visual appearance. Lots of UFC fighters joke at his face and statistics also prove that people favor pretty people in every aspect of life. Maybe they signed him for his talent, I don't know

By the way, as I said, he wish is really dumb, especially when the owner of the company where he
works is Dana White. I'm sure that Raul won't make it because as you said, Merab isn't going anywhere and there is really nobody that can beat Merab. Despite the fact that this guy is 34 years old, he is just starting and every his fight shows how amazingly he develops.
