Question: Are there some "non-addicted" players here who have suggestions to help others be more controlled?

I am a non-addicted player who has been gambling for over three years. I haven't had a 100% control on my gambling. Sometimes, I have been indiscipline with my gambling budget, time, and words. But it doesn't happen all the time. I suggest having a clear thought out and if possible well written plan of pre and post gambling. This plan will help you to control your gambling. It is like an accountability checker. If you need to involved an outside party to help keep you in check do it and start TODAY(as in the OP). This has worked for me.
Your reality I'm gambling control is not different from that of many of us here since at some point seem to lose control of our gambling excitement and at that, we tend to overdo things sometimes and this is why we shouldn't allow ourselves to get dipped that much.
If we want to avoid addiction we must have a basic acceptable goal for controversial gambling activities both in how much we gamble and the time we spend gambling, making sure we never overstep the boundaries that make us feel that we are somehow having uncontrollable gambling.
