Just do both. Invest some of your money for long-term, and at the same time, trade some of your funds as well.

Trading is risky and you can have higher reward by trading Bitcoin in short term, but in long term, I am very sure that most traders will have lower rewards from trading than from long term investment, and most of them even have losses.
