Why should Musk or any other rich person pay off the government's debts? In essence, debt is the result of poor financial management, only at the state level, these are the mistakes of the government, not individuals. And those people who managed to make a fortune know how to manage money and worked very hard to achieve this, and they did not achieve this in order to ultimately pay off someone else's debts, much less the government's. It's like your neighbor coming to you and asking you to pay off his loan because you are a wealthy person and he is poor, but it doesn't work that way.

Nevertheless most of this rich people benefit more from government. They are made rich by government support through cronies in government because they get private information on government propose capital projects which they made themselves available to get some of those contracts, they register companies that will get those contracts. Rich people are supported to get huge loans to run business and tasked lower or given task wavers so that they can build the business.

There so much secret deals going on with rich people and those in government, so their growth is also supported by the government personnels.

Trump is promising to support Elon musk in this trying times. He is promising to buy Tesla cars and that I suppose is from government. So they make policy to favour rich friends too, they should support the country when they are called to help.
