Even if investment has to do with some risk it doesn't make sense for one to just go into any investment without trying to avoid risk. For me I think their are no risk involve in bitcoin if truely you know what you are doing. If you are buying bitcoin to hodl with amount you can afford to lose, no matter the price at which you are buying bitcoin, I don't think you are taking any risk so far as you are targeting to go for a longterm investment. Risk can be only when you are not sure if you can be able to go for longterm and investing with the money that you can't afford to invest in bitcoin for the future.

As long as investors treat Bitcoin for the long term, I see no risk except the risk of loss due to hacking. And I personally have never felt any other risk besides that, because to invest in Bitcoin and will get a very large profit will only sell it when the price is very high and feel satisfied with the high price with the existing profit, and as long as you are not satisfied and will hold it longer it will be much better because the profit you get will be much greater. Using money that can afford to lose is actually a good suggestion, but it would be better if it was planned to be increased and still not using important money and making periodic purchases or DCA is the best choice for the future because in the end the Bitcoin owned will accumulate to be large in the long term which will produce large profits too and most importantly have strong confidence and patience in doing so until you reach the point you want.

If you have studied the history of bitcoin prices, you already know the purpose of bitcoin, this will make you realize that there is no harm in investing in bitcoin because bitcoin will continue to increase over time plus many countries are slowly starting to adopt it and its community is growing. So this makes bitcoin the most sought after asset in the future. The risk as you said when you are not careful in storing bitcoin then you will lose access to your wallet besides I don't see any risk in bitcoin as long as you don't sell it when the price drops.

The point is, in investing in bitcoin we must have a mindset like this, investing in bitcoin must be patient. Like planting a tree, we have to choose good seeds (in this case BTC), plant them in fertile soil, then care for them patiently. So don't expect to be able to harvest overnight, because growth takes time. Sometimes there are storms that come, leaves fall, or growth slows down, so too in investing, there is a process that we must face. But as long as we continue to learn, be patient, and not panic easily, the results can be extraordinary. Remember, those that grow fast are usually fragile or die, but those that grow slowly are often stronger and more durable.
