You actually said it all, Manchester United are really struggling to get back to their best form but still they are finding it difficult. Amorim is trying his best but what I observe is that he is trying to put things together before the season end so he can come back stronger next season. I quite appreciate what Amorim is doing in Europa League because he has maintained a very beautiful performance there, which makes them top favourites despite their poor performance in Premier league. If Amorim succeeded in winning Europa league title, it going to be a great honour for him and he will be recognize has one of the best manager in the world. Nottingham Forest will be hosting Manchester United in their next match and already fans are seriously having doubt on Manchester United victory.

This could be the worst Premier League for Man United as they are likely to finish outside the top 10, but I agree with you that their poor (Premier League) performance is not entirely Amorim's fault, and I think he just happened to come in at the wrong time. Give him more time and full financial backing, I am sure he will make Man United better, and back to the title race.

In contrast to the Premier League, Man United is shining in the Europa League and I think they have a pretty good chance of becoming champions, especially if Amorim really prioritizes the Europa League above everything else. If this happens, then it is no surprise that Man United will lose against Nottingham Forest.
