It's hard to be a starter when your competition is still in their prime. I think Trent or even Robertson needs time to replace Clyne and Moreno. Both of them have injury issues that affect their game time too iirc. Unless the same thing happens to Madrid, Guler won't get regular minutes.

A youngster like Yamal is an exception. I guess Arda Guler can try to do the same. Waiting patiently and when given the chance, makes a big impact that will encourage the fans to make noise in a match. It does feel terrible when you don't know when that time is coming though.

How long will he Keep waiting for the time to come. Or is he the patient dog that's hoping to eat the the fattest bones? Unless Madrid are going to have another coach who might favour him, only then can he have more playing time. Ancelotti don't trust him and he won't have much time to play as far as Ancelotti remains the coach of Real Madrid. Nobody would be hearing of Lamin Yamal if he's being kept on the bench. I pity young stars who are always going to Madrid at the early stage of their career. Madrid is a team that don't nurture young players. They are always going for the already made players. If Arda Guller had gone to Barcelona he wouldn't be in this condition right now. His management should discuss with Madrid and find a possible solution. That young Man needs more playing time, to continue his development.
