What makes you believe strongly that when the world comes to an end and everything is destroyed, the Internet will still be working perfectly for you to access your crypto? An individual is expected to weigh the options available to him, know the risks involved and go for the one that best suits his risks tolerance.

If you want to save wealth for the future and possibly gain some returns from it, watch out for those assets that are a great store of value. By this I mean, they are never affected by inflation and they still have the capacity to appreciate instead. There are quite alot of them like gold, Bitcoin, silver, real estate, land and many others that may be relevant in your country.

While I agree that crypto is a great way to save wealth, I do not agree also that it is the only way. I believe more in diversification. Split your wealth into different assets or investment choices and reduce the risks of losing them all.

But he seem to be right about diversification so if you have the money to invest I guess Bitcoin will save our lives in the future and maybe gold will also be the best hedge when it comes to rebuilding his life again when the asteroids hit his head.
