It is good you acknowledged your triggers and put up measures to refrain from it getting a better hold of you, avoiding the potentially dangerous situation is the best way to curing it. Near misses can really make you feel you have a bad luck in gambling, especially when they are very recurrent. mine happened like three times within this week alone and while meditating on the possible causes of my plight made me put up the topic.

The cashout can be disabled by the bookmaker at anytime. Even if you are winning, they can disable it when getting close to the end of a match. But there are some bookmarkers that will not disable it at the time. When I bet on Stake last week, I was winning but I check the cashout and it was disabled like 2 minutes to the end of the match.

Mine was a rather funny case scenario, from the time the second goal was scored, the cashout option was unavailable, Else I would've cashed out before the 45th minute since I was watching the match and saw the extent of pressure the PSG team was mounting on the home team. It was a very risky game, but I observed that for quite some time now, PSG always comes from behind to win the matches, mostly at second half, hence my placing the bet despite the risk
