Of course De Gea cannot be expected to perform like he used to in his younger days but he will still be an upgrade to Onana. Manchester United should just come up with a way to get rid of Onana. Most of the players Erik ten Hag splashed hundreds of pounds to bring to Manchester United are flops. I don’t think getting a personal coach or trainer for Onana is going to change anything, United should simply find better options.

The majority of fans want De Gea back at the club, but he may not even be a true upgrade to Onana, because United's defense doesn't allow keepers to look good with the ball. The last game for the club against Nottingham Forest, the only goal scored in that match isn't a keepers fault, the defenders escorted the opponent giving him enough time to dress the ball perfectly before shooting, shit defenders should expect attempts that the keeper are not able to save.

But if they don't want Onana, they should let him go, clubs are ready to make the deal and i believe he will do better somewhere else. Manchester United are not just good at making use of players, even if they are the perfect fit for the job, always gives complain and bad reputation to the player.
