People who are on the side of criticism, and using their money for other purposes, still fun but no potential of them to make money from it could be said to be the ones making the financial mistake. What do you think?
I would like to stay neutral on this topic. People are entitled on what they wanted to do on their money and people have different point of view about this kind of stuff. In terms of financial literacy, any means of spending money without a sure chance of gaining from it is a waste of resources so we cannot argue with their belief while those who are into religious thing will frown on any gambling activities due to their belief.
I view gambling as entertainment and not a means of earning money but I would not go to the point of arguing with others insisting on my view about gambling engagement. Too much spending on any entertainment can be a financial mistake, so whether gambling is a financial mistake is dependent on how we spend on it. I agree that responsible gambling is not a financial mistake but beyond that, it is.
As long as your gambling activities don't cause you financial problems, then, it is not a mistake for you. But for some who are having financial difficulties, I believe, that would be your mistake. But it is still your prerogative what to do with your funds.
Each gambler has their own take on this as they are the ones who really knew their financial aspect. So if he feels that this activity is already damaging not only his financials but also his mental health, better pause and assess your situation. You may need to stop this activity before you ruin not only your life but your immediate family as well.
