Liverpool performance is okay this season, even as their is decline in their performance, it’s not really worst. Liverpool were defeated in the champions league, and FA cup because they played against difficult opponents, and even if a team is in form, you don’t expect them to win all their matches. Definitely slot will try and improve Liverpool’s performance by next season, am sure he will want to achieve more than what he will achieve this season.
I'm yet to actually notice an obvious decline with Liverpool but they are actually not as brilliant as they were in the mid part of the season, after they suffered those defeat in the FA Cup and the rest, they began to have some unusual performance such that they weren't showing so much confidence but never to wori they are still favourite for the premier league, the appear more comfortable playing their domestic league games than they do with the champions league and so they can res channel the efforts to the premier league and make sure to take home the title. If the win the premier league, it's going to be the first under slots management and that will build some more confidence on him.
The players are tired. Same players are playing in all competitions that is not an easy task to handle. Salah especially has done so well for the team; he is one of the reasons why they are able to win the Premier League this season. Next season i don't think Liverpool will be as sharp as they are this season. Two reasons why are said so. One, Liverpool players will be having some fatigue issues after the end of the season it will affect them on the long run next season. Secondly, they may face the problem of injuries so with no debt there won't be anyone who will perfectly fit in most of the player's position. Imagine if Salah was injured who can substitute him to play just like him in that wing.
