gambling is often seen as a harmful habit. my question to you is, in a completely free society, should someone be prevented from providing gambling services for the good of society?
The first question that comes to my mind when you talk about providing gambling service for the good of the society is where got my attention. At first what do you consider good and bad to the society? Because we all have our own choice and what we feel is good or bad. So if gambling is good to you then it may be bad to the next person. So everybody has their opinion on what they think is good or bad. The fact is that we can not totally remove all bad things in the society, the society is made of the good and bad that is what makes life to be complete.
from an individual point of view, it is everyone's choice to gamble or not to gamble. the management of your money is entirely up to you in a physical sense. but that doesn't change the fact that some people are going to go bankrupt, their lives are going to be very difficult with the existence of gambling.
Exactly, everyone has the free will to make decisions wether to get bankrupt or not.

I don't think that things that can harm a person by their choice
it can be prevented. It's everyone responsibility to make decisions weather to get addicted or not. Gambling is not the only bad thing you can think of, there are lots of things in the society that can not be removed but people can only ovoid those things to get a better life.
