Reading the messages again this person clearly felt entitled to merits from you. His urgency suggests that he needed those merits to reach a new rank and possibly apply for available signature campaign.
That was what even annoyed me most when I read those telegram message and saw that the spammer was questioning @fillippone why he did not reply to people that want to translate his thread, as if fillippone owes him an explanation. The spammer is so ruthless to have even gotten the telegram handle of fillippone.
