Liverpool also have a policy of not keeping older players who are above 30 in their club. So I don't think it's something that Liverpool management has to worry about. The number of old players they have this time around is too much. Besides these players that are planning to leave are players that has served the club for a long time, and players that has shown their loyalty to the club. So it only normal for them to leave the club considering their age as Liverpool won't be taking them seriously. But what I find strand is why Van Dijk agent is offering him to Madrid without the club showing interest in him. It shows desperation. If he wants Van Dijk to remain in Europe next season, he should consider clubs in seria A. Teams like Juventus and AC Milan would be interested.
