How Satoshi came up with something like Bitcoin?
How long have you been working on this design Satoshi?  It seems very well thought out, not the kind of thing you just sit down and code up without doing a lot of brainstorming and discussion on it first.  Everyone has the obvious questions looking for holes in it but it is holding up well Smiley
Since 2007.  At some point I became convinced there was a way to do this without any trust required at all and couldn't resist to keep thinking about it.  Much more of the work was designing than coding.

Fortunately, so far all the issues raised have been things I previously considered and planned for.
If you think about something for one year and a half (before releasing it), then you can cover a lot of things, test many scenarios, and fix many problems. And the very first non-released version initially used SHA-1 hashing from HashCash. Many things were changed, if you compare the initial code with the first official version. And there are many traces in the sources, for example that's why you can see "scriptPubKey" and "scriptSig", because before introducing Script, it was simply named "pubKey" and "sig".

Edit: Some explanation, how to create a system like that: https://gwern.net/bitcoin-is-worse-is-better

If there's one thing that I want to happen with regards to Satoshi, I guess it's Satoshi distributing the 1M Bitcoins that Satoshi is holding
1. Satoshi is not Patoshi. You can for example try to re-mine the Genesis Block, and compare it with Patoshi's pattern.
2. When we will get closer to break secp256k1, then all old coins will be protected: https://blog.lopp.net/against-quantum-recovery-of-bitcoin/

Does anybody here knows if Satoshi is a male?
He explicitly picked "Male" on his P2P foundation profile.
