Is there a free gambling for dummies guide out there that explains in depth all the oldest to modern facets of gambling with historical data that you would recommend? Like a gambling encyclopedia that keeps up with the entire gambling world?
Something that doesn't really fit the description you made is all I know. Every casino has a guide for beginners and FAQs. That alone can solve 80% of your problems. For the rest? Well, Wikipedia is your friend.

I believe becoming a student in anything you do certainly has its benefits and it's important to always keep an open mind.
That's true, but gambling isn't supposed to go that far. People always want to eat their cakes and have it back -- if you eventually begin to dedicate such a range in time for the purpose of learning some techniques and making comparisons through historical records and stuff, you're slowly selling out yourself to the game.

Yes that's a good point, i certainly don't want to be devoted to gambling i was just curious if a cumulative gambling Wikipedia or something of the likes existed. But why would anyone ever have a need for that anyways? I suppose it is taking a bit too far, I was more rather curious. It would kind of be cool though. A super in depth history book on gambling if you will.
