I agree with you but a point i will address is the lack of protection casinos have in place to stop it from happening. I am from an unrestricted country but lived in the uk for a time, and since the UKGC is the worst regulatory body ive played under, bringing in constant changes to "protect players", which is just a nice way of saying to make the games less fun and to benefit casinos by not changing the glaring issues with terms & conditions, I quickly opted to avoid that mess and use a vpn to connect to where i am actually from. I do have the benefit of having a passport from there and an address, even when i didnt live there, though, so kyc was never an issue. Almost never. But my point is, i exclusively played outside of the uk regulated zone so i could play without restrictions of 2+seconds minimum between spins, no fast spins, less favourable bonuses, etc, and not once had an issue, aside from william hill who detect a vpn quite consistently. For clarity i use proton vpn, the only one worth having for my use case, due to it being open source and forms part of the broader proton suite such as mail, pass and drive. It is fairly low risk until you bring kyc into the equation, but some sites dont require it unless you are a high roller, which im about as far away from being as the sun is to us.
It’s player responsibility to always check the ToS and analyze your current situation before you gamble on a licensed casino. I’m sure you knew to yourself that you are a restricted player due to your country while using VPN will surely not gonna make you forget that you are being restricted regardless if you are on different country since you will need to submit valid ID later on once KYC was enforced.
We shouldn’t leave to the casino the judgement whether we are restricted or not since they are online casino and there’s a lot of ways to bypass their restrictions until you requested KYC.
Yeah obviously, pretty much all crypto casinos are banned in the UK, I'm not sure on your point youre trying to make, i stated that i have benefit of kyc documents in my possession for both countries, mine and the uk, and i stated that its low risk until you bring kyc into the equation. Referring to the lack of protection against this happening. All casinos are guilty of letting players in that technically shouldnt be allowed in but that circumvent the restriction, though the casino is doing nothing wrong if they are using the level of security required by law, they gain from the extra influx of players and so does the player, though the player needs to use a few braincells to determine if they will be required to pass kyc, and if so, do they have the documents required to do so. Some casinos are more lenient than others, so every one is unique from the same parent owner of the operating site/s.
As per betfury's restricted list of terms (if I saw correctly), I am allowed to register, but as per my countries law, it is prohibited.
Well, in that case, you can use the Betfury site without problems. But keep in mind that if the authorities in your country start to regulate it, and Betfury decides to adjust to them by adding the country to the list of restricted countries, then you will not be able to use your betfury account as usual. In this case, the site won't let you authorize because the corresponding pop-up window will appear every time.
What do you mean? It if it's prohibited, then authorities of that country have already regulated it. Betfury is just not prioritizing to update their ToS. And i am honestly not sure what their priorities are.
The rtp of the in-house games are, for all intents and purposes, completely fictional. Through a lengthy back and forth after i became suspicious, the most i could get out of them was a certificate for their prng for the in-house games, which has no bearing on the actual rtp. I'd be happy to answer questions in relation to what they responded with on various questions i asked, but i will hold off on going into detail now, more so to save myself time. I've hopes that maybe a community such as this will pressure them into following through with getting the games tested by a 3rd party, which in their own words have told me they currently are not. They are only tested by themselves, and lets be honest here, we are hardly supposed to be expected to go by what they say in regards to their own game's fairness when they have a profit motive. It is just a shame because it was my favourite casino from the point of registering and remained so for around 4 days, until enough time and bets were placed for things to start appearing "off". The fact they proudly display the rtp as a financially motivated clickbaity factor is rather concerning, as if they cannot verify something as simple as the rtp of games they designed themselves, or give any insight into how theyve tested it themselves, then what else are they doing that hasnt been noticed yet.
I am not even fan of Betfury, but this seems nonsense. You claim that they aren't tested by third party, which is just a lie, and it's your word against actual
audit, so maybe you should contact to
SIQ and complain to them instead, if you think they did such a horrible job? They recommend to do so in their report as well:
If any parties dispute our findings, or may present evidence or information
contrary to our findings, SIQ would welcome the addition of this information for our consideration.
This is just what they've told me as i've tried to seek proof from them in any way. I'm not going to play into what you're saying, it is what i was told and i wasnt shown any documents, aside from the prng one which was irrelevant to me as the conversation was always regarding the rtp. I will post the full transcript if you want.
EDIT: You've literally just linked the prng document too smh
