It wasn't last year, De Gea spent a whole season without a team, so it was even earlier. And now Fiorentina are in talks with De Gea to extend his contract until 2027, they certainly don't want to let him go after seeing how good he is. It is quite possible that he will decide to stay in Serie A, and I don't see any reason why he would want to go back to Manchester United now, firstly they refused to extend his contract, secondly their position in the Premier League is terrible, so De Gea might not be interested in this offer either.

This is even ridiculous after selling De Gea out and they brought in the worst keeper so far Onna, and what were they dreaming in the first place that they sold him out, so they are just realizing he wasn't their problem lol, Now the question is, have they solved the problem with Manchester United that led to the selling of the keeper? after realizing that De Gea wasn't their problem before thinking of bringing him back, and if I'm De Gea, I have moved on with my career and won't return where they previously don't value my services.
