Is it because of the match Real Madrid lost to Valencia that you are thinking Barcelona is in a good form than them?, I thought so before but since real Madrid picked form I never saw them that way again, though they might be having bad performance sometimes but they are actually a very big contender, from their points Barcelona just got higher because of the Valencia wining if not there would have been a bit of the same point with Barcelona, however Real Madrid and Barcelona are not just the only highest on the La Liga but also on this about to played Copa del ray finals because the both are going to face each other's and afterwards they would meet again for the La Liga.
Since Barcelona and Real Madrid still have two meetings in this season, I think Real Madrid need to prove to the world that they are also very strong and are not a team that can be prevailed over easily. Barcelona have shown some strength better than Real Madrid on two occasions this season if they’re able to win in this two head to head they still have to play, then Real Madrid wouldn’t be looked down on by Barcelona or any team for the quest of the La Liga title. The La Liga is hard to decide because of their point gap and that’s the most interesting part of it now.
I doubt if Atletico Madrid will top Real Madrid in the second position of LaLiga table, no matter how best they play. What they will achieve in this season is to qualify for the Champions League match next season. Any other thing apart from that, I don't see them achieving that by beating Real Madrid and Barcelona in the pursuit of lifting the LaLiga trophy. The LaLiga trophy this season is between Real Madrid and Barcelona, the lucky team wins it with little points gap against the other.
Atletico Madrid had their chances and I don’t think they can have another chance again to finish above Real Madrid or Barcelona in this La Liga race. When they met with Barcelona, it was the perfect time to hold their ground more for the league title but unfortunately there was nothing to show for it from them. I now see that the La Liga title will only reside between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
