The thing is how is betting on winners is arbitrage betting? I know what arbitrage in trading is but I had to look this up on this one. It’s similar I found out. But how can someone been accused for arbitrage betting when you only betting who is going to win?

so how can a casino detect arbitrage betting.
most people bet in round numbers like a $10, $50, $200 bets etc...but if you are actually doing arbitrage with a calculator to maximize your profit, your bets would look like something like $22.5, $134.7, etc... which is a dead giveaway.
even if you round your bets to have no decimal points, it's still easy to detect since normal players don't bet like that.
