It's going lower, much lower.

Japanese stock market down 8%, Hongkong and China a whopping 10%.
European and U.S will be another major bloodbath.

Capitulation fase? Bitcoin to $60k range?
Bitcoin decoupling from stocks was just hyped bullshit, i'm indeed a gullible retard.

Your flip and flopping is sometimes beyond wonderment.

Black Monday 2.0.

Going to the gym to clear my mind.
I hope LFC_Bitcoin is doing fine, not having a mental breakdown.

Although, Bitcoin down 30% which happend multiple times during bull markets.
I’m good, not selling.

Think the bull market could be over though.

Are your  thoughts greater than 50/50?  or enough to make it bettable?  Probably there are not too many of us wanting to bet on down (or lack of up) unless we get good bet terms, even though I took my bet with WatChe (a few weeks ago) based on him giving me irresistible odds, but I did not even consider my chances of winning were 50/50.

When the tide goes out you get to see who was swimming naked.

Gonna be a LOT of swimsuits sold soon.
...and a lot of nipple alerts!
I wish I liked fat old manboobs.  But I own a pair. Not that great.

I still have kind of man boobs, even though I have been doing daily pushups for about 14 months.

Not easy to reverse aging and/or our loss of muscle mass (and challenges in retaining muscle mass).

Sold worth a few k for quarterly mortgage (that I forgot to pay and I probably can't file this under STML anymore) about an hour ago.
You're all welcome..

Sorry for your loss… or thank you for your loss…  Huh
Thinking about all the munchies and goodies I could buy now if I sold it in time (like end of March when it was due) is a bit annoying admittedly, but then again given the price I paid ages ago for it still makes me smile (a sad smile, but still a smile).
All jokes aside, this is why we HODL… to be able to use it when we have to! And only use what we need…

Let's say between 2016 and present, there have been so many times that I have failed/refused to sell, or only sold slivers of my authorized amounts, so I have backlogs of amounts that I could sell to make up for those lackenings in my selling of dee cornz.

.. and yeah, surely BTC prices were mostly sub $1k in 2016, and even through the years, so many times, just small sales made.

I don't feel bad about it, even if I were to have to sell some during the dip because some extra unexpected expenses were to come in.

what will be the lowest we go before new ATH.
My bet is around 65k... and no JJG, I'm not really betting on it...
hope the bottom is in though...

but then.. we have to kill all hopes first... so there might be some dumping yet to come
thank the Lord that I have some old eggs in the fridge

Over the years, I have noticed that you have had tendencies to call lows that did not end up happening, so I am taking your $65k-ish bottom with a decently large grain of salt... and by the way, what is wrong with a friendly lil bet, especially if you may be speculating that the odds for your claim might be greater than 50/50.. or maybe you are not quite reaching 50%, but you are still calculating your view of the bottom as the more likely of the possible scenarios, but still not quite getting to 50% odds by the time everything is added up, which is part of the rationale for my being willing to take the opposite side of such a bet, and feel that my odds are pretty good for winning (maybe even greater than 50/50 odds)..

I have been hoping this administration would cut or even eliminate capgains taxes.

I should be careful what I wish for. 😵‍💫
Funny, but I'm sure most of the people in this thread are still sitting on massive capital gains.  For me personally, the difference between paying capital gains taxes on $100K Bitcoin or selling tax free at $80K isn't all that much of a difference...  Just putting things in perspective.

With such huge gains this year I think it was obvious we'd see a correction as people liquidate to pay their tax obligations.  Trump seemed to magnify that by using this time to implement his tariffs.  Almost like they wanted the price to fall...  Like they were planning a buy in the near future or something...

Yeah.  When you are ongoingly trading, you likely are causing your costs per BTC go up, wittingly or unwittingly, but still seems a less preferable situation as compared with the guy who had mostly been erroring on the side of accumulating and holding his cornz throughout the years.
