I and my friends just had an arguement, they said anything called cryptocurrency including bitcoin is very risky and the Risk is not worth taking.

Yes Bitcoin may be volatile in nature but investing in it is indeed worth the risk as long as you know what you are doing, with the right knowledge and caution Bitcoin's volatility can be handled and it's potential returns of investing in it outweighs the risks, you understand Bitcoin more than your friends and that is why you didn't write it off as being too risky. Bitcoin's volatility nature is one of the reasons why people see it as a high risk investment and I wouldn't blame them too much because they are right and just like every other investment there are winnings and losses but with the right strategy investment in Bitcoin guarantees high profits.

Bitcoin volatility should not be a problem for a long term investor because they already know say they profit go come later after everything, so Investors with long term mindset no suppose worry about Bitcoin volatility rather people wey suppose worry na people wey dey trade Bitcoin because there own na to make asap profit which sometimes they choke them and again na that same volatility they make them get profit sometimes because if Bitcoin they fixed how they wan take make the profit.

For experienced investors to Bitcoin they should be aware that the volatility that we are talking about even helps to stabilize the price of Bitcoin in the long run so volatility should not be an excuse to anyone who has the mind of investing in Bitcoin, one thing that we as a people needs to know is that life is a risk so everything in life is risk so when it comes to bitcoin related investment people should look beyond the risk involved.

In any business venture that we as a people has in our minds we should know that such business has thesame failure rate as it success rate too so people should be foresighted enough to see the opportunities that bitcoin will offer when you invest into it than the risk
