To think that only Real Madrid was the only team that never had the opportunity to finish among the top 8 teams in the table, they have to qualify for play off and later comes to the knockout stage where they are now facing Arsenal for the next quest. My mind is telling me that Arsenal will put them in their place because they have not been consistent, but are Arsenal even better? If Arsenal has edge one can depend on it would have been easier to say they can win but they aren't better.
I don't know what to think of Bayern and Inter, the town teams seems to be king on their lane where two are top in their domestic league, they even share similar points and just one game difference of win games in their domestic league. If we want to talk about experience, the two teams has been in the final atleast ones before, it's very tough call to make between these two teams but I'm certain Bayern has an edge of winning in this stage.
I think that Bayern will have an advantage only on their home field, they play the first match at home and should win, but Inter is not a team that will allow itself to be beaten so easily, Inzaghi managed to create a very competitive team that has proven that it is not for nothing that it plays in the playoffs for several seasons in a row.
And by the way, in the match between Real and Arsenal, I am also not sure that these will be easy matches for Real, if Arsenal manages to score quickly, then everything may not go as Ancelotti expects. Arteta has little experience, but he learns quickly, so Real will have to try hard to beat such an Arsenal.
Arsenal vs Real is quite predictable confrontation. We can try to guess that Arteta will try to play attacking football, then Arsenal will concede 3-4 goals from Real and then there will be a meaningless return game, or if Arsenal does not want to play attacking football and try to play from the defense, then still concede, but less, for example, only 2 goals and still lose.
Against such strikers that Real have it is difficult to do something and Arsenal conceded from teams much lower level than Real.
Therefore, unlike the pair Bayern vs Inter in the confrontation between Arsenal and Real I think everything is clear for a long time.
It is not as easy as you are saying it even though Real Madrid has more champions league experience than Arsenal, if you check Real Madrid last two matches you will notice a slack from them and I don't really know what is the course, or will it be the champions league that makes them slack and lose last match. The only hope arsenal have in this season is this champion league and Real Madrid still have hope in the Copa dey Ray they will be playing with Barcelona and so Arsenal will play with all there might to make sure they have a good result so it is going to be a strong one and so lets not jump into conclusion that Real will beat Arsenal.
I honestly can't believe Arsenal could beat Real Madrid 3-0 so badly. I guess I overestimated the strength of Real's attack, because in the Arsenal match I think Mbappe, Bellingham and Vinicius were more in each other's way on the pitch than helping Real to score and if it wasn't for Courtois' great performance Real would have lost even bigger.
Terrible game of Real and what Ancelotti will do now in the return match is unclear, given that Arsenal can still defend.
Perhaps this is Arsenal's best game of the season, after the game against PSV, when Arsenal managed to score 7 goals.
Courtois made some great saves and helped Real Madrid avoid conceded goals in the first half but it's a match for Declan Rice. He scored two fantastic goals from free kicks and Courtois is a victim unavoidably. No goalkeeper can make a save against those outstanding freekicks and Real Madrid lost this match not only because of those free kicks from Declan Rice.
