They had to pretend that everything was under control and that the hack would not affect their business to not cause a mass panic withdrawal from their platform, which would quickly send them into bankruptcy. This is a very good question. Lazarus will return (or has already returned) all the stolen amount to the network again, and there is a great possibility that in one way or another, the "row marked" coins will come into the possession of ordinary users, who later have a problem proving that they are not connected to the hacker group.
I understand that they are angry at Bybit, but innocent people should not pay for their mistakes.
