Can anyone explain the reasoning on Donald Trump's tariff's war against the rest of the world. I even heard Soul Society,Marley and Village Hidden in the Leafs have been affected.
It's simple, reprisal response
from a man that's feeling cheated.
Trump announced his latest — and most sweeping — round of tariffs on April 2, which he dubbed “Liberation Day,” as part of his “reciprocal” trade plan.
In a fiery speech claiming that other countries had “ripped off” the U.S. for years, Trump declared that the U.S. would now tax nearly all of America’s trading partners at a minimum of 10% — and impose steeper rates for countries that he says run trade surpluses with the U.S.

At least it won't work as exactly as he Trump may have planned it to go. Dropping it on China this way doesn't make sense. It's almost looking as though China was the primary target but it has to come in disguise by carrying other countries along in the tariff levy war of Trump.
