Xabi will probably leave at the end of the year if he goes to Real Madrid. There is very little time left in the year and it makes no sense to leave the team now. Real Madrid will not let Ancelotti go before the end of the season anyway. Leverkusen has reached a completely different level with Xabi. We need to accept this and think about what a coach who takes Leverkusen to a higher level can achieve for Real Madrid. Real Madrid is currently losing to Arsenal in the Champions League. Maybe Xabi will be in Spain next year but the tactics he left behind will continue with Leverkusen.

That's right , Today I was surprised to read the news that they're letting Ancelotti go , This opens up a much bigger Debate because they'll say , "Ancelotti to Brazil," and/or Klopp to Madrid, and/or Xabi Alonso to Madrid These things will now be in limbo as to who will be able to take over at Madrid, which, as you said ,  is bad The performance against Arsenal was terrible. I don't even want to imagine the Clásico if they continue like this.

The warning Real Madrid have issued Carlo Ancelotti about the Champions League second-leg vs Arsenal

Madrid’s players and coaching staff are showing a united front about their chances for the second-leg with Ancelotti and Kylian Mbappe insisting they can come back.

The Italian manager claims that “things happen at the Bernabeu” when asked whether he feels his team can do the unthinkable and come back from 3-0 down.

Ancelotti told the media after the match: “If you look at tonight’s game, it seems like there’s no chance. But unpredictable things happen in football.

“No one expected Rice to score two free-kicks today, and he did. Anything can happen in this sport. We have to believe, trust; because sometimes, a lot, things happen at the Bernabeu.”

“There’s no deadline. My thoughts are the same. I remain focused on this season, I’ve already said that the focus of our players and myself is on what we have. We’re in a key phase. We don’t want to speculate about anything beyond football.”

Like Ancelotti, Alonso has a contract until 2026, which perhaps implies that he intends to see his out in the Bundesliga. However few would bet on Alonso remaining in Germany if Ancelotti is dismissed at the end of the season. Paying equally close attention to Ancelotti’s future are Brazil, who are targeting the Italian to take over this summer.
