And I guess the management and the GM and coach have different opinions on how to run the franchise, yes, they've won a NBA title but I guess it's not enough for the management, or at least they are expecting another one for the city.
It just doesn't make sense though that two coaches have been fired in succession that brought the team to their glory. If Jenkins and Malone's record is that bad, then we will understand it. But they are winningest coach in their franchise and so we might not known the real reason and all we have is speculation.
This is becoming the new norm in the league. We've seen a lot of coaches got fired in the midst of important games. I even saw a video of Jokic coaching his teammates. Looks funny but the guy is really serious in winning. The management shouldn't add any pressure to their MVP by firing their one of the most important person. No doubt that coach Malone is a winning coach and has the heart for it. But things happen and he has no control with that if that's already done.
