I feel bad when I read gambling stories that led to suicide. No mayyer how addicted someone is, please don't hide it from anyone. It's better for people to talk to you and help you with words of advice and encouragement because they go a long way. However, some gamblers prefer to keep their addition as a secret, and it's only when they're ready to let go that you can help them.
They keep their addiction a secret because if they speak up they might end up getting judged.... it's a cold world people don't care you till you are gone..but this doesn't justify the fact that he killed himself, suicide should never be an option, one of the main reason why people end up killing themselves due to gambling addiction is when they get into a huge debt that they can't pay, this makes them think of just taking their life... people like this should be helped and encouraged not judged.
Tbh, this is a grave matter. Being alone and unable to express one's inner thoughts can drive a person intoto suicidal phases. It can manipulate them into thinking the unthinkable, like suicide, or conjuring up harmful ideas with serious consequences.
This is exactly why we must keep such individuals like gamblers close by, especially if we are aware that they have a gambling habit. It may seem inappropriate, but even if it requires us to be pushy with gamblers, we should, to ensure that they feel comfortable sharing what is
troublingbothering them. This way, we can find ways to help them and provide the with emntional, financial support and care for them!
