We have discussed this past before about letting your spouse know about your HODLings Incase if anything happens to you, so they wouldn't be locked out. So this case of storing seed phrase in different locations doesn't mean your love ones will not know about it.
Your spouse and children or other loved ones only can know about your wallet backups and recovery if you want them to inherit your bitcoin and give them those important information to access your wallet.

When you already intended on inheritance of your loved ones, you will surely give them necessary information, including how many backups you made, stored and where those backups are stored.
There should be education from the beginning about what will be inherited using the wallet you use to store Bitcoin.
It is very important to tell your wife or children if they are adults so that you can open an asset that is intended for children and wives.

But if you want to pass it on to a specific person, then it is necessary to see if they will be ready with the knowledge they have.
It's actually easy to tell those who are the heirs, use a will about what instructions to do.
