I and my friends just had an arguement, they said anything called cryptocurrency including bitcoin is very risky and the Risk is not worth taking.

Of course, Bitcoin is not risk-free. But the risk we are talking about is now far away. So we can say that Bitcoin is currently risk-free. But ordinary people who do not know what the risk of Bitcoin is, they think that the price is low, therefore the risk of Bitcoin.

I want to tell them that the low price is not a risk of Bitcoin, but rather it is a feature of Bitcoin. If you look at the features of Bitcoin, you will see that the price is low and the price is high.

How do you mean the risk we are talking about is far away? Anything investment is risky because the outcome is not guarantee or certain because if it was..., some people will use all there life savings to invest but because it is not guarantee that is why they advise us to always use waiting we fit afford to loss. However, but because of how long Bitcoin don stay and how the value have appreciated that is why some persons will say it is a promising asset or project but don't get it twisted and the low and high you are talking about is what is known as volatility ( up and down) that is Bitcoin behavior.
