Anyone who spends many years in the pool has a better chance of finding a block on the ground, right?
No it is Not better.But how more hashpower you have so more chance to find a block.
Own mining farm or big rentals.

I would be happy to setup a Farm with Members or Owners' of the Farm to do this.
Each has a piece of it and each has a piece of the Expenses AND 'Winnings' as well.
I won't sell the CWI one - but We could easily setup another one.
