If City are punished in any way (look at the point deductions last season that were applied to Everton and Nottingham) then they won't even be close to the Eurocup zone. I'm glad that even without this penalty City are now teetering on the brink of getting into the Champions League (this year it's 5 places instead of 4) but still at least some punishment should be applied to them
Manchester City faced with this punishment threats many times and they always managed to escape punishments so far, but perhaps they will have to pay cost in punishment eventually in future. With a coach like Pep Guardiola, when he feels either hitting limit of himself and players, smell self-degradation of the player squad, and risk of failures, he will leave a club that he is working for.
If a financial crisis or severe punishments come to Manchester City, Pep Guardiola will leave and trigger a bigger crisis in Manchester City. This season already shown many problems in this club and Pep Guardiola might faill to bring them back to highest level in a next season.
