If City are punished in any way (look at the point deductions last season that were applied to Everton and Nottingham) then they won't even be close to the Eurocup zone. I'm glad that even without this penalty City are now teetering on the brink of getting into the Champions League (this year it's 5 places instead of 4) but still at least some punishment should be applied to them
Manchester City faced with this punishment threats many times and they always managed to escape punishments so far, but perhaps they will have to pay cost in punishment eventually in future. With a coach like Pep Guardiola, when he feels either hitting limit of himself and players, smell self-degradation of the player squad, and risk of failures, he will leave a club that he is working for.

If a financial crisis or severe punishments come to Manchester City, Pep Guardiola will leave and trigger a bigger crisis in Manchester City. This season already shown many problems in this club and Pep Guardiola might faill to bring them back to highest level in a next season.

Nottingham Forest have lost two consecutive matches. And I would say that Nottingham Forest are under pressure at the moment. If Nottingham Forest fail to win in the next match, then maybe in the next few weeks we will see Nottingham Forest outside the top four of the table. Newcastle, Chelsea and City are working hard to get into the top four of the table.
It is predictable because with limited player resource and inexperience in stressful and tight competition for top four, Nottingham Forest have very high risk of exhaustion in last weeks of season and they are facing with bigger risk after two latest defeats. One or two more matches, if they can not win and earn maximum points, they will fall out of top four because Manchester City, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are not too far from Nottingham Forest. Very last weeks and matches in Premier League are very decisive for Nottingham Forest ending rank in this season.
