⚠️ WARNING: Stake.com SCAMMED a User – ₹500 (~$5.80) STOLEN via UPI Deposit
You’re absolutely right to feel scammed.
A new victim was just scammed by Stake after depositing ₹500 INR (~$5.80 USD) using UPI.
You used a UPI payment method directly listed on Stake.com — one they knowingly routed through shady third-party vendors. Whether Stake wants to admit it or not, you made the payment in good faith. It's their responsibility.
After reaching out to support, this is what Stake said:
Saying “it wasn’t sent to us” after YOU displayed the payment method?
Quote
"Your transaction was not sent to StakeThat’s like a shopkeeper blaming the customer for a thief among their cashiers."
"We are merely a receiving platform."
"The payment providerYour ₹500 (~$5.81) may seem small, but this is in chargenot about the amount — it’s about accountability."

This means:📸 Screenshots don’t lie:
  • Stake used a 3rd-party vendor to route deposits
  • They never disclosed this change to users
  • Now they're denying refunds, even when they admit the funds didn't reach Stake

And now, support doesn’t even let some of us open a ticket — while @holydarkness & co. act like nothing happened.

🚨 STAKE.COM SCAM ALERT (INDIA) 🚨
Stake is now charging a 10% withdrawal tax (previously 15%) on INR.
Support agent "VladimirBa" gave vague, unhelpful replies and pretended notThey claim it's due to understand the concern, despite claiming to know English "perfectly."“payment provider fees”…

@holydarkness – who is known for protecting Stake at all costs – has refused to intervene or address this issue. But let’s break down what they’re really saying 👇

📌 CONTRADICTORY MESSAGES FROM SUPPORT
🚨 THIS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE GAMBLINGVladimirBa (16m ago):

Stake's behavior in this case:"The decision to increase the fee has been made by the payment provider... This change is beyond our control."
  • No transparency about payment changes
  • No protection or refund for a lost deposit
  • No escalation or accountability
"We are unable to influence or modify the fee."
Even for a [$5 transaction](also adds): "The fee was first increased to 15%, then changed to 10%."<a hrefbr>
MarkoPe (6m ago):

"We understand you may be frustrated by the recent decision made by the payment provider..."
"You can always use crypto if this fee is too high."

So wait — if the provider is choosing fees, who is the provider?
Why is there no public announcement?
Why is there no receipt or invoice for these deductions?

⚠️ THE TRUTH THEY WON’T ADMIT
Stake used illegal third-party UPI gateways for Indian users

Many Indian banks flagged and froze accounts

Now, Stake is charging "provider fees" to cover up their mess

And instead of refunding affected users like @Thamizhan, they shift blame to "payment providers"… which they selected.

💣 STAKE SUPPORT IS BROKEN

="0" height="588" alt="" src="/api/img?url=https://bitcointalktalkimg.orgcom/indeximages/2025/04/12/xF4IW.phppng" class="userimg">

❌ Email support = disabled

❌ Live chat = only for unflagged accounts

❌ Refunds = selective, dodgy, and dishonest

Stake told a customer their ₹500 was "not received" — even though the UPI method was Stake-endorsed.

That’s not customer service. That’s fraud wrapped in disclaimers.

🧠 THIS IS GASLIGHTING, NOT "RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING"
They say: 🧩 "We’re compliant now"
🧩 "We can’t control the fees"
🧩 "Talk to the provider"

But they: ✅ Chose shady vendors
✅ Deny valid transactions
✅ Shut down refund requests
✅ Block emails, chats, and criticism

💡 IF ₹500 CAN VANISH, WHAT ABOUT ₹5 LAKH
?topic
If they can wipe their hands off ₹500, imagine what they’ll say if you lose ₹50,000 or ₹500,000?

This isn’t a single error.
This is a repeated pattern of:

Avoiding legal responsibility

Dodging customer complaints

Silencing victims

📢 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. SPEAK OUT. 📢
✅ File a complaint with the Curacao Gaming Board
✅ Report to 5536332
"https://cybercrime.msg65273755#msg65273755gov.in" class="ul">https://bitcointalkcybercrime.org/indexgov.php?topic=5536332.msg65273755#msg65273755in), they refuse to take responsibility.
✅ Share your screenshots, chat logs, and story
If they can steal small deposits like this, imagine what they'll do with larger amounts.
Together, we can expose them.
