I don't believe that gamblers never win after they gamble for years. They should already win few times, there should be lucky time for the gamblers. When they become more familiar with certain gambling games, they must have a better chance to win it. Well, I can agree that a strategy is crucial for certain games (blackjack, poker, sports betting). But for other games, it is not really crucial because it is basically nothing to do with a certain strategy. Luck is surely the main factor to determine the chance winning the gambling games.

If one is not consistent in gambling it is possible not to win or maybe to win only few games and sometimes when the number of loses is so huge it's just as if one has never win any game in gambling. But if it is a gambler that consistently plays gambling I don't think it is possible not to win gambling, it is possible that loses is more but there are wins that one would be able to remember. Winning gambling is based on luck but experience also plays a role in the outcome of every game, and consistency in gambling can only give one a better experience to understand how gambling works .

There's no such thing about consistent when it comes to winning because even if you do say to yourself that you are doing good with sports betting but having constant wins cant be possible on which there's always that chances of losing and might even happened to be consecutive ones. Therefore, on the time or moment that you do made out bets or gamble then always put up into your mind that losing is inevitable and dont make yourself that being too positive so that you wont be ending up on disappointed if ever your bet have lost. Never anticipate that you could be remain that winner forever once you do experience some good winnings. The only issue for most people or gamblers is that they've been that too much positive and ending up on failing because luck wasnt on their side.

It is just that very wrong to presume out that you can be always a winner at the moment that you do gamble or bet on which we know that gamblers will always be the losers in the end. Just imagine those funds being used or the money for the sake of entertainment. So that you wont be finding yourself that being too desperate on becoming a winner on which we know that this cant be possible on any way.

Let us challenge your idea cause you're partially correct, but you're framing it as a warning to children rather than a debate among thinkers. Yes, losses are part of the game. There is no one who disagrees. However, "no such thing as consistent winning" is oversimplification.

There are those in poker, sports betting, trading, who make more than they lose. Repeatedly. Consistently. Not because they’re positive thinkers, but because they treat the activity as a discipline. They track closing line value, use mispriced markets, and study line movement. This has not to do with "luck not on your side". You either have edge or you don't. And if you don’t, you're not betting, you’re donating.

Furthermore, this anti-positivity framing serves just as a cover for another type of emotional reliance: expecting safety by expecting the worst. That’s controlled hopelessness. What most “losers” in gambling suffer from is delusion. They confuse belief with preparation.
