When I first started gambling around 2015, anonymous casinos and sportsbooks were the norm. Some of you might remember DirectBet - it was huge back then before eventually shutting down.

Now, the landscape has clearly shifted toward regulated platforms. Yet some anonymous options still exist. So I'm curious, where does the community stand today? Would you still choose anonymous casinos, or do you prefer sticking with regulated ones?

Personally, I prefer to play at regulated casinos because I believe that security and transparency are essential for a fair and fun gaming experience... regulated casinos are required to follow strict rules and regulations that ensure that the games are fair and that payouts are made quickly and securely (there are exceptions, I know).

Also, it may just be my impression, but I find that regulated casinos generally offer more game options, better bonuses and promotions, and more effective customer support, as well as being more likely to invest in advanced security technologies to protect player data and prevent fraud, even because the regulatory bodies require them to do so.

On the other hand, anonymous casinos seem to me to be more risky because without regulation it is harder to know whether the games are fair or whether payouts will be made securely since there is no one to enforce compliance with the rules and no support for us to appeal if we need to open a dispute. Not to mention that anonymous casinos are more likely to close without warning, causing players to lose their funds.

I understand that some players like you still prefer anonymous casinos for privacy or other personal reasons, but I think in these cases it is worth doing careful research and choosing only sites that are very trustworthy and safe.
