Doing a KYC with a casino involves trust, trust that their data is protected based on their terms. If they cannot hold on to that, then there's no reason why gamblers should entrust their datatrust that casino again.
They can replace the money but once the data is compromised, they imperil the safety of their users identities online, so casinos should prioritize data for safekeeping.
If the casino says the data were safe after the hacking, I will still prefer to play and support that casino.
