Not for long. If the US gets isolated from the rest of the world, it will lose its military and economic might. Empires can't last forever, anyways. When the time comes, China will reign supreme. Unless, the EU gets bigger and stronger as a result of the on-going conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

For what I know, anything can happen in the future. The US created this monster (China), and now it must "deal" with it. Cooperation between both countries will ensure peace and long-term prosperity. Isn't that what we want? Why focus on fighting against each other? A multi-polar world will hinder mankind's progress. At least, that's what I think...

Although I wish that would happen, but if we are realistic, the US will not be isolated from the world and lose its position in the near future. Even if China becomes stronger and BRICS succeeds in creating a new world, the United States and its allies will still be parallel forces to create competition with China.

Furthermore, don't expect China to dominate this world because for sure when they replace the US, they will become as bad as the US. Instead, expect China and Russia to create a multipolar world where power is shared equally rather than concentrated in one country.
