Why asking this question when Bitcointalk has been able to remain operational since over 15 years ago? Did you think there were no hackers that tried to take over this forum? You are an old member, you know this.

Staying long doesn't mean you are resilient.
He's an old member that's why he's concerned.
Why would they attack an educational forum that helps grow the ecosystem?
Same reason why similar platforms have been hacked
Either to show they can do it or access users data (which can be sold or used for social engineering)
Or simple revenge.

The breach came as a result of technical vulnerabilities and reliance on outdated system's like PHP Ghostscript version for PDF uploads.
Maybe we can look into this but I guess Theymos has his reason why we haven't yet.
Besides I'm sure Theymos and the team are giving their all in making the forum is secure as they can
